Today, American Mensa announced the appointment of Trevor Mitchell, execMBA class of 2016, as Director of Membership and Strategy. In his new position, Trevor will oversee the development of strategies to continue the organization’s growth. He will also work with the technology department to update the organization’s digital infrastructure. According to American Mensa Executive Director Pamela Donahoo, “Trevor’s vast experience in growing membership, developing new programs and enhancing existing ones will be a real asset to the Association.”
Trevor commented that he looks forward to working with an organization with such a great reputation and culture. Congratulations to Trevor on this exciting new opportunity! We look forward to hearing about his experiences with Mensa as he begins his second year in the program.

Trevor Mitchell, CAE, is a frequent writer and speaker in the association management industry and has held leadership positions with numerous professional associations including the American Society of Association Executives and the Kansas City Society of Association Executives. He grew up in southeastern Missouri and earned his BS in Business Administration from Columbia College. He enjoys various activities with his partner and friends such as Royals games, movies, checking out the local food scene, any festival that comes to town, traveling and exploring, and attending Mizzou football and basketball games. He’s also a classically-trained pianist and continues to play in his free time.
